The Industrial Association for Finishing – Yarns – Fabrics – Technical Textiles is an German textile association with members from the sectors of textile raw materials, finishing, yarns and fabrics as well as Technical Textiles. As an industrial association IVGT contribute with its work in a significant way to maintain and strengthen the general framework for textile production. IVGT support all professional, economic and political concerns of its member companies towards national, European and international institutions.
More than 20 years ago IVGT founded together with EU partners the European-Technical-Textile-Club (ETT-Club) and is organizing since than annual meetings for its members, and producers as well as researchers of technical textiles. In 2018 IVGT started to extend its activities together with Forschungskuratorium Textil e.V. and the European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing (ETP) with the “EU industry and research exchange on Technical Textiles”.
